3665932 - Search bar not visible on Career site - Recruiting Marketing

Symptom

On a RMK career site, the Search Bar component is set up on a page, but is not visible on Preview or on the published page

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing

Reproducing the Issue

  • Go to Career Site Builder
  • on a Page, add the Search Bar component
  • The component does not appear on the site

Cause

Missing configuration in the CSB XML file

Resolution

  • Export XML file (2846195 - Export Site (XML) and Import Site (XML) options in CSB - Recruiting Marketing)
  • Search for the function : searchSettings><keyword><on>false</on></keyword>
  • Switch to  searchSettings><keyword><on>true</on></keyword>
  • Reimport the XML file

Please note that, for instances with Unified Data Model enabled, the Location will appear as well as it is managed in Career site Builder:
