3666118 - Stock difference between ERP and EWM due to Restricted stock status in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Stock differences were identified between the ERP system and EWM for certain materials.
• Inventory quantities in ERP did not match the stock levels in EWM.
• Material was available in the Warehouse Monitor app for Warehouse but not visible in the Display Stock Overview app.
• The stock was identified as being in a Restricted status.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Warehouse Monitor app with Warehouse M301.
2. Navigate to Stock and Bin >> Storage Bin >> Available Stock.
3. Double-click on Available Stock and enter the material.
4. Observe that several stocks are displayed.
5. Open the Display Stock Overview app.
6. Enter material and plant.
7. Observe that no stocks are displayed.

The stock was set to a Restricted status, and the default filter settings in the Display Stock Overview app did not include the appropriate version to display restricted stock.

1. Open the Display Stock Overview app.
2. Adjust the main filter option to select "Display Version" as "13" or "14" to include Restricted Stock.
3. Alternatively, use the app "Stock - Multiple Materials" to filter and identify Restricted Stock more easily.
