Symptom

In Drilldown Reporting when using the option "Asterisk display" (*) for Hierarchy display the result needs some explanation.

The following symptoms can be observed:

  • Different users observe varying asterisk counts for the same project or WBS numbers.
  • The hierarchy levels are represented by increasing numbers of asterisks, but the top-level count differs between users.
  • Users question how the system determines the hierarchy numbers (e.g., 10*, 8*, 7*).
