3666207 - Limitation of 3 decimal places in Frequency Foundation Object - Employee Central

Symptom

  • While attempting to edit e.g. the Annualized Factor for Frequency Foundation Object, it has a limitation of 3 decimal places.
  • The 4th decimal place is not saved when viewing in the UI.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures.
  2. Search for Frequency object.
  3. Click on 'Take Action' button, then select 'Make Correction' option.
  4. Edit the 'Annualized Factor' value from a 3-decimal value to a 4-decimal one or longer.
  5. Click "Save".
  6. Observe that the 4th decimal place is not saved when viewing in the UI.

Cause

Annualization factors and frequencies that are not described in the table of the link under 'See Also' section are not included in the standard replication.

Resolution

The 4-decimal place behavior is an expected behavior from the system.

Based on that, you may consider submitting an Enhancement Idea.
