Symptom

  • When creating a database
  • A new 'success' message is returned to both the client session and the ASE error log:

    Database 'db_name' has been created with success.

  • This is message number 1881 and can be captured by client application with that number:

    SQL Server message 1881, state 1688960, severity 10: 
    Database 'db_name' has been created with success
