When executing Personnel Administration actions (e.g., with transaction PA40), the system proposes employee group and employee subgroup defaults for a person based on the values maintained in the related position's Infotype 1013 (Employee Group/Subgroup). If the values in Infotype 1013 of the position do not match the employee group or subgroup of the related person, this may lead to inconsistencies, incorrect data proposals, or missing system warnings. This can cause additional manual effort and error potential during personnel actions.
