Symptom

When attempting to copy and paste between worksheets in Excel while utilizing the SAP Excel Add-in, the copy and paste icons are disabled, preventing data transfer between tabs.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the SAP C4C Excel add-in.
  2. Attempt to sync the Excel add-in and run reports.
  3. Try to copy and paste data from one file to another using the cut and copy icons.
  4. Observe that the cut and copy icons are disabled, preventing the data transfer.

Cause

This is expected behavior as the formatted copy and paste is not supported in Excel Add-in due to specific Microsoft limitations with VSTO APIs in 'xslm' files. 

Resolution

In this scenario, it will be required to use plain text copy functionality for transferring data between worksheets in the SAP C4C Excel add-in.
