3666796 - Automatic Capitalization of Custom Labels in Preferences Section in Recruiting Tab - Recruiting Management

Symptom

Titles in the "Preferences" section appear capitalized despite custom translations being uploaded in "Manage Language".

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Upload a custom translation file in "Manage Language".
  2. Navigate to the "Preferences" section in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting module.
  3. Observe that all titles appear capitalized, regardless of the custom translations uploaded.

Cause

The formatting that auto-capitalizes the first letter of each word in the Preferences Section is hard-coded. 

Resolution

This is expected behavior of the system. Uploading the custom translation only updates the text from the key label but not the format.
