When posting AP/AR invoices with tax code in the supplier/customer item without any tax-relevant items, error message 'Historical factor for calculating taxes must be filled for the line-item' error appears. This message states that the historical factor for calculating taxes must be filled for this line item.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition

1. Release or post supplier/customer invoices in the system. 
2. Observe, that error message 'Historical factor for calculating taxes must be filled for the line-item' occurs.

Registration for Indirect Taxation Abroad (RITA) is active in your system. The error is a restriction in case of invoice transactions.

Delete the tax code from the supplier/customer item. This item is not tax-relevant, and deleting the tax code prevents error from being triggered.
