3666960 - Next Available ID Not Displayed During Project Creation in "Project Control – Enterprise Projects" App

During the project creation process in "Project Control – Enterprise Projects" app, when entering the project ID field, sometimes the system does not display the "Next Available ID" as mentioned in KBA 3616340 - Next available ID not suggested while creating an enterprise project, but still shows "Recently Used" project IDs.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open "Project Control – Enterprise Projects" app
2. Create a new project.
3. Start entering the Project ID, and observe that the system does not display the "Next Available ID" as expected

This is a known issue due to changes in SAP UI5 code that affected app stability.

The fix is planned to be delivered with 2508.3 over the weekend of November 15-16, 2025.

Note:
This is the current planning and may be slightly changed by SAP at any time without notice.
The fix will be applied to all customers.

The issue is not stable, and a possible workaround is to first open an existing project, then return and create the new project.
