It is not possible to create a business rule to set values in ADC based on information entered in PDC / NHDR

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Create a business rule for a custom MDF.
2. Configure the rule so that the ADC fields are set to values entered in NHDR /PDC.
3. Add the rule as a oninit rule on the ADC object.
4. Create a rule trace.
5. Open the form associated with the additional data collection step.
6. Observe that the fields do not have a value entered in them on intiation as per rule configuration.
7. Check rule trace and see that values are passing to ADC as null.

This is expected behavior.

• Currently, there is no functionality for ADC fields to be set to values entered in PDC / NHDR.

• Enhancement requests can be submitted following KBA 2090228.
