Symptom

  • Integration Flow with AMQP sender adapter goes to error with POLL_FAILED and javax.jms.JMSException: [CAMEL][IFLOW][POLL_FAILED] : Polling from amqps:<> failed. [CAMEL][IFLOW][EXCEPTION] : javax.jms.JMSException: AMQP SASL header mismatch value 48, expecting 41. In state: HEADER0 [CAMEL][IFLOW][CAUSE] : org.apache.qpid.jms.provider.exceptions.ProviderIOException: AMQP SASL header mismatch value 48, expecting 41. In state: HEADER0 [CAMEL][IFLOW][CAUSE] : org.apache.qpid.proton.engine.TransportException: AMQP SASL header mismatch value 48, expecting 41. In state: HEADER0
  • The first number (e.g., 48) can vary depending on the non-AMQP service reached.
  • Error occurs immediately at connection handshake even though the target host:port is reachable.
