3667254 - Is it possible to edit standard error message when creating absence?

You want to edit the error message displayed when creating an absence request. For example: "Sorry, you can't request X days. Your leave balance is insufficient."

1. Attempt to recreate an absence request;
2. Observe the error message displayed during the process "Sorry, you can't request X days. Your leave balance is insufficient."

The error message is generated by a standard rule in the system. 

• It’s not possible to directly edit or customize standard error messages. Such messages come from standard system messages, not from rule-based or text in Manage Data or Message Definitions;
• If you would like to have this option added to the system you can open an enhancement request following the article 2090228 - How to submit enhancement ideas for SAP SuccessFactors Products. This way our Product Management team can consider it for future updates.
