3667312 - Guardrails in Story Reports

As a report designer, you can now receive real-time feedback on performance-heavy query designs, helping you to avoid anti-patterns that impact report efficiency. With this enhancement, designers receive warnings and are blocked from adding guard railed pattern elements once a set threshold is reached, ensuring optimal report performance.

The messages would be:

• You have reached the maximum limit of 36 nested IF conditions that can be used in a query.
• You have reached the maximum limit of 12 self joins that can be used in a query.
• You have reached the maximum limit of 7 nested calculated columns that can be used in a query. (Disabled as of 13th Feb 2026)
