Error message: "No data available or you do not have the necessary permission." in Work Order Information during Rehire of an Contingent Worker as Contingent worker when there is a field of type GO/FO object configured.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Contingent Worker

Prerequisites:

• Hiring manager should have restricted permission only to certain Legal Entity say A
• Employee being rehired worked previously in Legal Entity B
• Custom field with data type as Generic object should be configured in the Work Order object

Steps:

1. Go to Add Contingent Worker -> hire the user in Legal Entity A
2. Duplicate check appears where user had worked previously in Legal Entity B
3. Accept the match and continue the hiring process.
4. In the Work Order section, try to change the custom generic object field
5. Error appears "No data available or you do not have the necessary permission." 

When any custom GO(Generic object)/FO(Foundation object)/MDF object is part of Work Order Information and since user sys id will be part of work order, the permission check will occur based on the previous employment/user id only for rehire.

• This is an Expected Behavior as confirmed by Engineering team.
• Please ensure to provide necessary permissions to hiring admin to avoid the error.
