Symptom

Which UTC is utilized by the SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) system to execute MDR jobs.

Reproducing the Issue

No information is provided in the case.

Cause

  • The system’s base time is UTC.
  • The UI shows times in the user/tenant time zone and converts to UTC for execution.
  • If SDK-based scheduling uses a local time without conversion, offsets occur.

Resolution

  • Treat MDR execution time as UTC +00:00.
  • In the UI: assume displayed time is local; the backend will convert to UTC to execute.
  • In the SDK: provide a GlobalDateTime value in UTC. If starting from a local time, convert to UTC before sending.
  • Validate that technical logs and audit trails are recorded in UTC.
