3667547 - The Sample tab is not visible in Change Inspection Plan app

Symptom

In Change Inspection Plan app, after entering the General Characteristic Data page, the Sample tab is not visible. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Change Inspection Plan app.
  2. Select the operation row and click "Inspection Characteristics" button.
  3. Double click on the characteristic. The Sample tab is not visible on the screen.

Cause

The "Sampling Procedure" indicator is not set in the characteristic control indicators. Therefore, the sampling procedure cannot be assigned to the characteristic in the inspection plan and the Sample tab will not appear.

Resolution

Set the "Sampling Procedure" indicator in the characteristic control indicators.
