3667625 - Incorrect display of special characters in Web GUI after HFC07 - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • After Hotfix Collection 07, special characters are incorrectly formatted in Web GUI applications.
  • Values that contain character "/" are formatted to "\/"
  • The properties cannot be selected within the app.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

Sample affected applications:

  • Create Sales Orders (VA01)
  • Display Material (MM03)
  • Create Purchase Order – Advanced (ME21N)

I.e. Create Sales Orders (VA01)

  1. Open  "Create Sales Orders (VA01)" application.
  2. Enter the Order Type.
  3. Enter Sales Area
  4. Enter the customer number.
  5. In the Material field, start typing.
  6. Observe that the product codes are displayed with an additional backslash before the forward slash (e.g., "ABC123\/1").
  7. In the WBS Element field, start typing.
  8. The WBS Elements are displayed with an additional backslash before the forward slash.

Resolution

A fix will be delivered with HFC09 (1-2. November).
