3667810 - 2H 2025: Unable to access specific tools when proxying to another user

Symptom

Since the 2H 2025 release, a change in system behavior has been observed when proxying to other users.


For example:

  • When User A proxies to User B, who has the necessary Configuration Transport Center permissions, User A is unable to access the Configuration Transport Center while acting as User B.
  • However, when User B logs directly into SuccessFactors, access to the Configuration Transport Center functions as expected without any issues.

Resolution

The 2H 2025 release introduced enhancements to the proxy functionality in SAP SuccessFactors to enhance security within the system.

As part of these security improvements, certain tools and modules no longer support proxy access.

Note: Before 2H 2025 there was a Learning proxy module option, but it wasn’t functioning. After 2H 2025, the Learning option is no longer available.

Note: The following features and tools have stopped supporting Proxy access:
  • Configuration Transport Center
  • Instance Refresh
  • Proxy Management
  • Proxy Import
  • Security Permission Reports
  • Manage RBP Admin and Super Admin Access
  • Privacy Statement in user settings
  • Reset Password in user settings

Please note that Integration Center and Security Center proxy access has been restored as of November 4th, 2025. The feature had previously stopped working following the 2H2025 release.
