ATP check confirms sales order against purchase order or stock transport order (STO) with blocked stock indicator (INSMK)

• SAP S/4Hana Cloud Public Edition
• Advanced ATP

1. Create a purchase order or STO 
2. In the purchase order item, set the stock type to "Blocked Stock".
3. Create a sales order where the purchase orders are included in the scope of check (field V_441V-BESTP)
4. The system confirms quantity against the purchase order with stock type blocked stock whether or not the blocked stock is included in the scope of check (V_441V-SBSTP)

• The standard design is to consider any purchase order or STO as a receipt element, regardless of its source, except for cases involving special stock indicators.
• The stock type field (INSMK) in the purchase order specifies the stock to which the material is posted upon goods receipt or from which it is posted upon goods issue. It does not indicate that the purchase order or STO is blocked and the scope of check does not provide the possibility to not consider the purchase order that used blocked stock.

1. Set up a storage location as an MRP area.
2. Assign a specific receiving storage location (in the MRP area) for purchase orders with blocked stock indicators (INSMK).
3. Make sure that the sales order is not checked in this MRP area
