Symptom

This article explains the mapping of Internal Compensation field from Arbeitsagentur to Recruiting Posting (RPO) module.

Environment

Resolution

The "internal compensation" field of Arbeitsagentur was linked to the common salary field on the RPO platform. Our engineering team introduced on October 22nd, a new specific Arbeitsagentur field, called "Internal Compensation".

As a result, the standard salary field is not be mandatory and will not be visible when only Arbeitsagentur is selected. However, if another job board is selected alongside Arbeitsagentur and requires a mandatory salary field, the standard RPO salary field will be visible and mandatory, but it will not be used for Arbeitsagentur.

Please be aware that the new Internal Compensation field constraint rule was amended on October 30th 2025. The following rules applies to the field now : 

  • If the field "Arbeitsagentur Supervision" is set to "No", then the field Internal Compensation will not be visible as it should not be send to the job board.
  • If the field "Arbeitsagentur Supervision" is set to "Yes", then the field Internal Compensation will be visible and not mandatory.
    • Be aware of the following limitation : If the recruiter select the "Arbeitsagentur Supervision" to "Yes" and select the "Compensation Profile" to "Keine Vergütungsangabe" then Internal Compensation field is mandatory according to Arbeitsagentur docuemention. However from the Recruiting Posting interface due to a technical limitation we can't make this field mandatory but it has to be field in the above usecase. A helptext will be added to the "Internal Compensation" field for the same.
