3668097 - Can we default expansion of Position Org Chart hierarchy/People Org Chart in SAP SuccessFactors

Symptom

  • The system does not support the automatic expansion of all Position Org Charts and People Org Chart for all employees.
  • Users are required to manually expand the position hierarchy from parent position to child position.

Environment

SAP Successfactors Employee Central

  • Position Org Chart UI & Manage Positions
  • Platfrom Org Chart

Reproducing the Issue

Take Position Org Chart as an example:

  1. Navigate to the Position Org Chart in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  2. Attempt to view all positions in the hierarchy as expanded by default.
  3. Observe that the positions are not expanded automatically, requiring manual expansion from parent position to child position.

Cause

Resolution

This is the current expected behavior, we do not support default expansion of position org chart hierarchy.This applies to People Orgt Chart as well.
