3668213 - Edit mode is not possible in Fiori app F4579 due to scc4 client production settings

Symptom

  • Editing or maintaining records in Fiori App F4579 is not possible when the SCC4 client is set to "Production".
  • The system blocks changes completely or prompts for a transport request, preventing direct maintenance.
  • Error occurs due to SCC4 settings:
  • Client role: Not allowed to repository & cross-client customizing.
  • Changes to client-dependent objects: Not allowed without transport request.
