3668262 - IBP: Deleting resource still used in PDS (SAP ERP and S/4HANA Add-on for IBP)

Symptom

  • Running report /IBP/ECC_DELETE_IBP_OBJECTS to delete resources (work centers) does not remove entries from /IBP/RESHEAD_EXT, /IBP/RESCAPA_EXT, and /IBP/RESDESC_EXT.
  • Deletion is skipped because the resource is still referenced by Production Data Structures (PDS). These references are stored in /IBP/SOSRES_EXT. Options like "Invalid Only," "Delete Object w/o Reference," or "Delete Incorrect LOGSYS ID" do not help when valid PDS references exist.
  • Pool capacity assignments, if present, also block deletion.
