3668276 - How to correct differences in Compare Stock with Inventory Management app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The Compare Stock with Inventory Management app is available from CE2508 in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.  

With this app, it is possible to correct stock differences by updating the stock quantity in Inventory Management according to the stock quantity in Warehouse Management.

This document explains how to correct stock differences using this app.

1. The yellow icon "▲" indicates that discrepancies can be corrected directly by clicking the "Save" button.

2. The red icon "●" indicates there is a stuck queue message needs to be handled first. 
Navigate to "Stock" - "Display Queues" and check the details of the stuck queue message.

3. If the inconsistency involves the stock with serial number, the correction fails with the error message  "Maintain serial numbers for total quantity" (M7175).
The Compare Stock with Inventory Management app is designed to compare the stock quantity only, not for comparison of serial numbers in ERP and EWM.
Raise a ticket to SAP under the component SCM-EWM-IF-2CL to correct the inconsistency at backend.
