3668333 - 404 Error when opening job posting links with special characters - Recruiting Marketing

Symptom

  • "404 error" occurs when opening job posting links containing special characters in the external title field Post preview release.
  • Job postings without special characters function correctly.  

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance using support access.  
  2. Navigate to Recruiting and open the Job Posting section of a job requisition with a title containing "/".  
  3. Copy the job invite link of the job posting.  
  4. Open the link in a new browser window.  
  5. Observe that the link returns a 404 error.  

Resolution

Correction was deployed with Patch P4. Patch information can be reviewed at Patches.
