Symptom

You have noticed that after the 2H 2025 release the business scenario MDI scenario Workforce Replication from EC to SAP Master Data Integration is failing with an error of invalid property names pointing to PerEmergencyContacts/addressNavDEFLT.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business scenarios
  2. Run the job 'Workforce Replication from EC to SAP Master Data Integration'
  3. After some time the job fails with the error mentioned

Resolution

This is currently being investigated by our engineering team.

For now we noticed that this happens inly in a very specific scenario when the customer disabled the address field from EmergencyContact HRIS element.

This then removes this field from the ODATA API Data Dictionary and hence the error starts to occur. 

Workaround

As a workaround, please set the field isAddSameAsEmployee for element "emergencyContactPrimary" in BCUI to enabled.

Permanent Fix:

The permanent fix for this issue will be deployed via patch scheduled for Oct 28th or Preview DCs (2511p2) meaning that should not affect production release.
