3668552 - SuccessFactors label showing alongside the logo in shell bar after enabling Latest Home Page

Symptom

After enabling the Latest Home Page, the SuccessFactors label appears before the module label when a company logo or SAP default logo is applied

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enable the Latest Home Page
  2. See SuccessFactors identifier label showing alongside logo
  3. Apply a company logo through the "Upload Company Logo" option
  4. Observe that the SuccessFactors label still shows 

Cause

The SuccessFactors label displayed within the logo is functioning as per the system design for the Latest Home Page and the latest SAP shell bar.

Resolution

You may want to replace the term "SuccessFactors" with the term that your organization uses to refer to the HCM system, as described in SAP Help Portal Customizing the Product Identifier Label in the Shell Bar. You can do it before or after enabling the SAP user experience updates, using Manage Languages. You can also disable latest SAP shell bar:

  1. Navigate to "Company System and Logo Settings".
  2. Locate the option "Enable the latest SAP shell bar".
  3. Uncheck the option to disable the latest SAP shell bar.
  4. Save the changes.

Note: as of now, it is not possible to change Product Identifier Label (SuccessFactors) color.
