3668610 - Theme issues observed in the Learning Administration area with the 2H2025 upgrade

• With the 2H2025 upgrade, some theme issues are observed in the Learning Administration area, even though the theme wasn’t changed.
• Sample scenario: On the Learning Administration area, entity headers aren't visible until the mouse hovers them over, however no change in the theme has been made.

Steps of the sample scenario mentioned above.

1. Learning Administration area >
2. Access any entity (ex.: User, Item, etc.) >
3. On the landing page of the entity, observe that the header is white, and the "Actions" button isn't visible >
   
   
   
   
4. Hover the mouse over the header area.
   
   

Only Fiori Horizon is currently supported, however that’s not enabled in the Learning Administration area yet. Additional details are available in the following place: Deprecation of Opt-In Setting to Horizon Visual Theme for Learning.

Set the "adminFioriHorizonEnabled" configuration to "true", it’ll correct the observed theme issues:

1. Learning Administration > System Administration >
2. Configuration > System Configuration >
3. LMS_ADMIN > Find the "adminFioriHorizonEnabled" entry >
4. Set it to "true" > Apply Changes.

After enabling it, log out from the system, clear the browser’s cache and cookies (KBA 2310570), and login again.

If theme issues are still observed after setting "adminFioriHorizonEnabled" to “true”, we kindly ask you to open a case with the SAP SuccessFactors Learning Technical Support team under the “LOD-SF-LMS-THM” component for further analysis.

Additional details:

The Horizon theme includes a more consistent application of theme settings in Theme Manager. If you use a custom theme, some UI elements may change color.

With the Horizon visual theme:

• Some UI elements that previously had their color defined in Theme Manager can no longer be customized. They take their color from the Horizon base theme instead.
• Some UI elements that previously had a fixed color become customizable. Their color can now be defined in Theme Manager.
• Some UI elements use a different theme setting in Theme Manager than they did previously.

Here's one example of a UI element that changes color with Horizon theming:

• The white background color is defined by the Horizon base theme. It isn't configurable.
• The pink text color on the currently selected tab ("Me") is defined at “Fine Tune > Portlets > Body link text color”.
• The black text color on the other tabs is defined at “Fine Tune > Portlets > Body text color”.
