3668701 - "View Job Profile" Button Missing When Creating New Job Requisition From Blank Template - Recruiting Management

Symptom

The "View Job Profile" button does not appear when using the option "Create New Job Requisition From Blank Template" to create job requisitions.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Click the "Create New" button.
  2. Select the job requisition template.
  3. Select the option "Create New Job Requisition From Blank Template".
  4. Enter the required information.
  5. Click "Next".
  6. Observe that the "View Job Profile" button is missing on the job requisition page.

Cause

This behavior is expected when the instance has been upgraded to Talent Intelligence Hub.  

Resolution

Upon upgrading to Talent Intelligence Hub, the behavior of the "View Job Profile" button and the "Job Profile" tab on the Job Requisition page will change:

Job Profile Not Linked to Job Requisition: The following fields will appear on the Job Requisition Details page based on the Job Requisition XML template configuration. The "View Job Profile" button and the "Job Profile" tab are not available.

  • Internal Job Description
  • External Job Description
  • Competencies
  • Skills

Job Profile Linked to Job Requisition: The "View Job Profile" button is available during new job requisition creation. The "Job Profile" tab appears after job requisition creation.

To link a Job Profile:

  1. Select the Job Code or Job Role on the Job Requisition Details page.
  2. A dialog box will appear to confirm the overwrite of the current job profile.
  3. Proceed with the confirmation, and the "View Job Profile" button will become available.
