Symptom

  • Logon credential prompt shows when user tries to refresh existing import job
  • The user is not the used connection owner

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the issue model.
  2. Navigate to the Data Management workspace.
  3. Click the Refresh button for the import job.
  4. Observe that a logon credential prompt appears.

Cause

  • The connection logon credential is not shared, which causes the credential prompt to appear for users who are not the connection owner.

Resolution

  1. Create a new connection.
  2. Ensure the option to share the logon credential is enabled during the connection creation process.
  3. Create a new import job based on the newly created connection.
