3668910 - Rich Text Formatting Not Retained in External Notes PDF Output

• Formatting in external notes is not displayed correctly in the generated PDF preview.
• The external notes field on allows text formatting (e.g., bold), but the preview output shows the notes as plain text without formatting.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Log in to the tenant.
2. Go to Sales > Sales Quotes.
3. Open the target Sales Quote.
4. Under the External Notes field, enter text with formatting (e.g., bold).
5. Navigate to Actions > Preview.
6. Observe that the notes in the PDF output do not retain the formatting.

When using formatted text in SAP C4C, such as in sales quotes, the formatted text will appear as plain text. This means any formatting like bold, italics, bullet points, or special characters will not be reflected in the output.

This behaviour is by design.
