3669001 - API for Reset and Reverse the Cleared Document in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• When using the API "Journal Entry - Post (Asynchronous)" to Reset and Reverse Cleared Documents, the system does not allow the operation.
• Error message: "Reversal of already cleared or reversed postings is not supported."
• Inquiry about the existence of a different API for resetting and reversing the cleared document.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Attempt to use the API "Journal Entry - Post (Asynchronous)" to reset and reverse a cleared document.
2. Observe that the system does not permit the operation.

• As per the SAP Help Portal Documentation Journal Entry – Reverse , "Reversal of already cleared or reversed postings is not supported."
• Currently there is no API available which can reset and reverse the cleared document.

1. Use the app "Reset Cleared Items" to clear the document.
2. If there is still a requirement for the API which can perform resetting and reversing entries of cleared document please raise a feature request.
