Separate material number from material description in app Material Document Overview.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

1. Material Document Overview.
2. Enter material number / plant details.
3. Displays the Material Number and Material Description within the same column.

For UI Extensibility: The Extensibility Specialist role is required. For the Material Documents Overview app: The Inventory Manager role is required.

1. Open the Material Documents Overview app and click on the profile icon.
2. Click on Adapt UI.
3. Right click on the list table and select Change Text Arrangement.
4. Find the column that you want to change, Material, for example, and change it to “ID only” from the dropdown menu.
5. Confirm and click on save (top right corner), then click on activate new version and give the version a name. Click on confirm again.
6. Close the UI adaption window and refresh the page. The column should now show only the ID information.
7. Click on the table settings – a pop up opens. Click on Filter.
8. Deactivate Hide (Unselected) Descriptions and search for Material Name – add the filter to the list. Click on “ok.”
9. Save this view as a variant.
10. You now have two separate columns for Material ID and Material name.
