Symptom

Separate material number from material description in app Material Document Overview.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Material Document Overview.
  2. Enter material number / plant details.
  3. Displays the Material number and Material Description within the same column.

Resolution

  1. From the app 'Custom Fields under' under Data Source.
  2. Create an entry for MMIM_MATDOC_OV_SRV : Material Document Items (Display).
  3. Select the field Material.
  4. Save & Publish.
  5. From the app Material Document Overview – enter material number / plant details.
  6. The column 'Material' is available.
  7. Which only displays the Material number (without the description)
