3669166 - Two-step stock transfer limitation for special stock types in "Transfer Stock - In-Plant" app

• The transfer stock – in plant app does not allow a two-step stock transfer for special stock types such as “e”.
• The down arrow key under the stock transfer (storage location) is disabled, preventing posting for already existing storage locations.
• After clicking the up arrow key and selecting add storage location, posting becomes possible for the stock transfer (storage location).
• Movement types 313 and 315 do not support special stock indicators.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Transfer Stock - In-Plant app.
2. Select an example material (for example, reel_imt) and click the up arrow key next to storage location fg01.
3. Navigate to another storage location.
4. Observe that the down arrow key under stock transfer (storage location) is disabled, preventing posting.
5. Click the up arrow key again and select add storage location.
6. Observe that posting now becomes possible for the stock transfer (storage location).

• Use the two-step transfer process only for unrestricted stock.
• Special stock types, such as “E”, are not supported in this process.
• If used for special stock “E”, the system will move the stock from unrestricted to blocked, instead of performing a normal two-step stock transfer between storage locations.
