Symptom

An SAP Analytics Cloud story contains a BW Live model (connecting on BW or S/4HANA). The model is based on a BEx query or CDS view.

The user creates a Calculation with a time dimension like 0CALDAY.

On the same widget a filter is applied to 0CALDAY.

Upon trying to create a variance, the following error is displayed:

Error: "The following unsupported measures are excluded from the variances"
