3669306 - The Time Account Opening Balance / Closing Balance in the Time Statement is incorrect

Symptom

When generating a new Time Statement for an Approved Employee Time Sheet, the Time Account Opening Balance / Closing Balance considers postings that are outside of the selected time statement period.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Generate a time statement for an Approved Employee Time Sheet with the time period from 6 Oct 2025 to 12 Oct 2025.
  2. The employee has 15 days of annual leave, 1 day of absence on 10 Oct 2025, and 1 day of absence on 20 Oct 2025.
  3. The expected Time Account Opening Balance should be 15 days and the closing balance should be 14 days.
  4. The actual Time Account Opening Balance and the closing balance are both 13 days.

Cause

The Time Account Type field "Balance Calculation Setting" is set to "Consider bookings after calculation date."

Resolution

Set the Time Account Type field "Balance Calculation Setting" to "Consider bookings until calculation date" to enable the calculation of balances as of the time statement start date and end date.
