Symptom

  • An error occurs during synchronization of customer data between C4C and S/4 systems.
  • Error message: "No authorization to create partner in role Business Partner (Gen.)".

Environment

S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to synchronize customer data between C4C and S/4 systems.
  2. Observe the error message: "No authorization to create partner in role Business Partner (Gen.)".

Resolution

Please configure SAP_COM_0008 and use this for BP replication instead of SAP_COM_0025. We will sunset the business partner replication in SAP_COM_0025 moving forward. This is the recommended approach and will help prevent similar issues in the future.
