  3. Observe the error message: "Tax number RS0 is required for Customer -> tax num table on tab 'Identification'".

Cause

Resolution

  1. Access SSCUI 103050 "Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Customers)" in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
  2. Modify the settings to make the VAT registration number optional.
  3. Save the changes to the SSCUI configuration.
  4. Retry saving the changes to the Business Partner to confirm the resolution of the issue.
