Symptom

When attempting to create a custom task in Manage Onboarding and Offboarding Tasks > Task Settings, the custom MDF objects are not displayed in the Custom MDF Object dropdown list

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Manage Onboarding and Offboarding Tasks.
  2. Go to Task Settings.
  3. Select "Add a New Custom Task".
  4. Observe that custom MDF objects are not displayed in the Custom MDF Object dropdown.

Cause

Effective Dating is incorrect in Object Definition.

Resolution

  1. Please go to Object Definition and find the custom MDF.
  2. Update Effective Dating to None.
  3. Refresh odata metadata cache.
