3669554 - Error "Multiple section code can't be assigned to the same plant" in SSCUI 101906 in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

Symptom

Error message "Multiple section code can't be assigned to the same plant" appears in the configuration activity "Assign Business Places to Section Codes", when multiple section codes are being assigned to the same plant.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the SSCUI 101906 "Assign Business Places to Section Codes".
  2. Create new entry by providing the values for Company Code, Business Place, Plant, and Section Code. 
  3. Observe the error message "Multiple section code can't be assigned to the same plant".

Cause

Resolution

  1. This is the current system behavior, assigning multiple section codes to same plant  is not supported in SSCUI 101906 "Assign Business Places to Section Codes".
