3669571 - Unable to delete service instance for plans "hdi-shared" & "schema" and related bindings in SAP BTP subaccount when the underlying HANA Cloud instance has already been deleted

• Deletion of a service instance and related bindings in a BTP subaccount fails.
• Error messages encountered:
  • "Service broker failed to delete the service binding for instance"
  • "Failed to open connection to the database, because of: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect ... Object is closed."
  • and other similar ones.
• Service keys for the instance cannot be deleted due to the same issue.
