Symptom
- Table does not return data for the selected Dimensions, despite it should return data.
- When using the New Table Experience widget with multiple Dimension Input Controls to dynamically change the dimensions used for the table rows, it does not work.
- When the same Dimension is selected in more than one Dimension Input Control, the New Table Experience widget stops functioning as expected, even after selecting different Dimensions in the Input Controls subsequently.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.14.17
Reproducing the Issue
- In SAP Analytics Cloud, create a Table with more than one Dimension Input Controls in the rows.
- Convert the Table, to the New Table Experience.
- When viewing the Story, select the same Dimension for both Dimension Input Controls.
- The table does not show any data and displays an error because both Dimension Input Controls have the same Dimension selected. This behavior is expected.
- Then select in the Dimension Input Controls, different Dimensions for each, and notice the Table still returns no data, despite it should have returned data. The Table is now broken and no longer works.
