Symptom

Banner and custom page images are not visible on new learning homepage post HCM refresh

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Learning 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login into BizX/HCM
  2. Navigate to Learning
  3. On new learning home page, banner and custom page images are not visible
  4. Navigate to Learning Administration -> System Administration -> Application Administration -> Banners 
  5. Confirm all banner images url is present

Cause

Banner and custom page images are hosted on BizX/HCM SFTP. If BizX/HCM refresh is done without Learning refresh, it replaces target images with source ones, but Learning tenant still references the old BizX/HCM image IDs. Hence images will not be visible to users.

Resolution

Admin can re-upload the missing images in Learning administration banners to resolve the issue.

Note: To avoid such issues, we recommend performing both Learning and BizX/HCM refresh together (using Instance Refresh tool) or to be scheduled around same time (in case of manual refresh).
