Error message "Assign a storage location and plant to the service employee" appears when creating a service order (with stock service part items) and releasing it, although the executing service employee has already been assigned with a plant and storage location.

The system requires both the plant and storage location to be maintained for stock service part items. During the release stage of the service order, the system checks for the plant and storage location based on the below priority order:

1. First Priority:
   The system checks for "Service Part Plant" and "Service Part Storage Location" maintained for the Service team. This is configured in the "Manage Teams and Responsibilities" app.
2. Second Priority:
   If the first priority is not fulfilled, the system looks for "Plant" and "Storage Location" maintained for the Execution Service employee. This is configured in the configuration activity "Assign Plant and Storage Location to Service Employee and Country/Region (ID: 102883)".
3. Third Priority:
   Next, the system checks for "Plant" and "Storage Location" assigned to the Employee Responsible. This is also configured in "Assign Plant and Storage Location to Service Employee and Country/Region (ID: 102883)".
4. Fourth Priority:
   Finally, the system searches for "Plant" and "Location" maintained for the Country/Region. This is configured in "Assign Plant and Storage Location to Country/Region (ID: 103352)".

At the point of releasing the service order, the stock service part item is still in open status. For this reason, there will not be an option to add the the Execution Service Employee, and the second priority fails. If the first priority is also not fulfilled, the system defaults to the third priority, which is to retrieve the plant and storage location from the Employee Responsible. If the third priority fails, the system will go to the fourth priority. If none of the above priority steps succeed, error "Assign a storage location and plant to the service employee" will occur.
