3669874 - Location ID not visible when creating an Import connection to S/4HANA in SAP Analytics Cloud

• After setting up all the prerequisites to create an Import Data Connection to SAP S/4HANA, the Location ID you have configured on the Cloud Connector is not available for selection.

Caveat
This also applies to the following types of import connections: OData, Business Planning and Consolidation for SAP NetWeaver (SAP BPC NW), and SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP).

SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise 2025

In order to have the Location ID available for selection when creating the connection, you must also map it in your SAC system.

You can follow these steps:

1. On you SAC tenant, from the left navigation bar, go to System > Administration > Data Source Configuration.
2. Scroll down until you reach the On-premise data sources section.
3. At the bottom of the section, you'll find the Add a new location button.
4. Add the same Location ID you previously added when configuring the Cloud Connector and click Create.
