The referral email token [[RECRUITING_ERP_JOBREFERRAL_URL]] and the invite-to-apply token [[INVITE_LINK]] take candidates to the career site homepage instead of the specific job details or application page.

This issue occurs when the job requisition does not exist or is not properly indexed within the Recruiting Marketing (RMK) system. The tokens rely on the job data being present in RMK to generate the correct URL.

If the job cannot be found in RMK, the system defaults to redirecting the user to the career site's homepage as a fallback measure. This is common in new implementations using Unified Data Model (UDM) where foundational job synchronization settings have been missed.

To resolve this, ensure that job data is correctly synchronized from Recruiting Management (RCM) to Recruiting Marketing (RMK). Even with UDM enabled, the following configurations should be reviewed:

Verify the Job Synchronization Feed

• Confirm that the "Sync all External Job Postings" job is scheduled and running successfully at least once per day in Provisioning.
• Check the job's execution history for any failures that would prevent jobs from syncing to RMK.

Confirm RCM to RMK Field Mapping

• Ensure that the critical fields required for a job to be valid in RMK are correctly mapped in Setup Recruiting Marketing Job Field Mapping within Admin Center.
• The minimum required fields are: Job Title, Job Description, City, State (US only), and Country.
• Verify that these fields contain valid data on the job requisitions that are being posted externally.
