3669912 - Replication Flow - data could not be converted - SAP Datasphere

Symptom

You are encountering the following errors when replicating data into SAP Datasphere and source system is S/4 HANA.

Transferring initial data failed due to the error: "data could not be converted (keys: values for key fields, columns: names of failing columns): keys=[********** ****** ] columns=[******] reason=[******:unexpected value: string(8) has invalid length: 10], row index: 0."

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA as the source
  • Datasphere as the target

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Run the replication flow.
  2. Check the status of the run.

Cause

Missing code corrections.

Resolution

Please check the notes and run tcode CNV_NA_DI to checking the missing correction for using DI function. All the notes listed need to be implemented in source system. Details can be found in these notes.
