3670144 - Measurement reading still copied to an inactive measuring point in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Measurement readings are being copied to an inactive measuring point from the superior measuring point.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access the "Change Measuring Points" application.
2. Enter the measuring point ID which is set as "Inactive".
3. Click on the value help field labeled "Transfer of" and "History".
4. Observe that measurement readings are still being copied to the inactive measuring point.

Standard behavior.

Although a measuring point is set to inactive, it is still a valid member of the maintenance planning e.g. via maintenance plans and it is still receiving documents via measurement point document transfer.

An inactive measuring point is 'only' not allowed to receive direct measurement document entries from the user.

1. Cancel the assignment of the inactive measuring point from the superior measuring point.
2. Disable the "Transfer Supported" indicator for the inactive measuring point.
3. Save the changes to ensure the inactive measuring point no longer receives measurement readings.
