3670196 - When trying to edit custom MDF data on the Latest People Profile post preview release an application error triggers

Symptom

When trying to edit a custom MDF portlet on the Latest People Profile, an application error with fingerprint "a68c0d9becba02efb0146679543772d51c3b068d" triggers,

SAP SuccessFactors HCM 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Employee Profile of a user who has data entered for a custom MDF portlet. 
  2. Go to the custom MDF portlet.
  3. Hit the edit icon or hit view all > edit.
  4. Application error triggers with fingerprint a68c0d9becba02efb0146679543772d51c3b068d.

Cause

Known issue.

Resolution

Engineering have investigated the issue and developed a code fix which will be deployed in Preview Instances on November 3rd and Production Instances on November 5th.
